The Dirty King is an overdrive pedal with additional boost function. It simulates the fat and pressureful sound of a JTM or a JCM with ist typically british sound. The Dirty King can be adjusted individually with the help of the six controllers including the 3-Band EQ for the instrument and the own needs. Adjustable controllers are: "Boost”, “Volume”, “Treble”, “Middle”, “Bass” and “Gain". With the help of the switch one can select between two sound modes (soft/hard). The mode "soft" is suitable outstanding for overdriven sounds, the mode "hard" however shines with aggressive sounds.
The boost function can be switched on/off by foot, the volume is adjusted with the controller "Boost". Further the boost function can be switched on/off independently of the effect, i.e. one can use the boost function also without switched on effect in order to increase the volume of the clean channel. In addition the boost function is very useful not only in solo passages but also to make the sound more pressureful.
